Breaking: Ward Chairman stabbed in Delta

By Festus Ahon, Perez Brisbe & Ochuko Akuopha OLEH – Ward Chairman of one of the rival political parties in Oleh Ward 1, Isoko South Local Government Area , Delta State, Mr. Vincent Egbogbo has been reportedly stabbed by suspected political thugs. Knife stab It was gathered that Egbogbo was stabbed Oleh Ward 1, Unit 7 in Egide Street, Oleh.

A stalwart of the party in the area, who spoke on condition of anonymity accused their rival political party of unleashing mayhem in the area. He said: “A group of thugs were driving from one polling unit to another threatening voters that those that will not vote for their party should leave the polling center. “So, the Ward Chairman told them to stop intimidating voters, which resulted to the attack” He said Egbogbo has been taken to a hospital in the area where he is receiving treatment.
